The Five Doors
A five-week series on desire, taught through the five senses.
Live online with Jade Levinson. Come solo or with your partner(s). Returning early 2027.
-
iSightWhat you love to look at, and how you want to be seen. -
iiSoundThe words, voices, music, and quiet that draw you closer. -
iiiTasteAppetite, flavor, and letting yourself savor. -
ivScentScent, memory, and the feelings it carries. -
vTouchPressure, pace, and the words to ask for it.
You’re not broken. You just need a map.
Most of us were never taught how to listen to our desire. We learned how to accommodate, second-guess, or play a role, especially in relationship.
- If you’ve ever frozen when asked “what do you want?”
- Or said “I don’t know” when you actually did know, but couldn’t find the words.
- Or felt like you’re supposed to know how to have great sex, but nobody taught you how desire works.
Pleasure doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from knowing yourself well enough to stay honest, and letting yourself want what you want.
The Five Doors™ is my method for mapping desire one sense at a time. Over five weeks we walk through each door slowly, gently, and through the body. It’s the series I used to teach as Pleasure Mapping, with a name that fits it better.
This series is for you if…
- You freeze in conversations about desire.
- You want to understand what opens you and what quietly shuts you down.
- You’re single and want to know yourself well before your next relationship.
- You’re partnered and want intimacy without pressure or pretense.
- You struggle to talk about sex, whether on dates or with a long-term partner.
- You’re tired of feeling stuck, mismatched, or like you should “just know.”
- You want pleasure that feels mutual, chosen, and real.
- You believe intimacy is something you grow into, not choreograph.
Solo or with a partner, you’ll be working with the same question: what happens when I know myself well enough to ask for what I want?
One doorway at a time
- Week 1
Foundations
Self-attunement and choice. You set your intention for the five weeks, and we use breathwork to drop out of the head and into the body.
- Week 2
Sight & Sound
Designing your dream “sex room” through guided visualization, then naming your accelerators and brakes for each sense.
- Week 3
Scent & Taste
Memory, emotion, and the body. Another guided visualization, and what speeds you up or slows you down in each.
- Week 4
Touch
Communication, attunement, and curiosity. A guided practice, and your accelerators and brakes for touch.
- Week 5
Integration
From knowing to saying. The RBDSMA consent conversation, which I learned through ISTA, and simple check-ins to use with a partner before and after.
You’ll be able to
- Recognize what opens you, and what quietly shuts you down.
- Name your preferences across all five senses.
- Speak your needs, desires, and limits without over-explaining.
- Talk with a partner without collapsing or bracing.
- Take responsibility for your experience without carrying the whole relationship.
- Trust your body more than your conditioning.
Something to keep
- Your own map of desire across the five senses.
- Practical tools you can use right away, with no special equipment.
- An understanding of your accelerators and brakes.
- A framework for real intimacy conversations.
- More capacity to stay grounded, curious, and honest in the presence of desire.
I’m single and wasn’t sure if this was for me. Turns out, understanding my own desire before my next relationship was the most empowering thing I could have done.
Past participant
Jade creates a space where you can be honest without judgment. I didn’t realize how much I was holding back until I didn’t have to anymore.
Past participant
I finally have words for what I want. My partner and I had the best conversation we’ve had in years.
Past participant
My body knows things I forgot how to listen to. I’m not guessing anymore.

Science, sensation, and practice
This series blends research on arousal with body-based practice and real conversation, so you leave knowing yourself better and able to say so.
- Accelerators and brakes
- We use the Dual Control Model of arousal, developed by Erick Janssen and John Bancroft at the Kinsey Institute and widely shared through Emily Nagoski’s Come As You Are: what speeds you up, and what slows you down.
- The senses as a way in
- Sensory awareness is a direct path to desire and presence, and it works whether you’re alone or with someone.
- Invited, never forced
- Pleasure can’t be forced, only invited. We work with choice and capacity rather than guarantees.
Everything you get
- Five live 90-minute sessionsAll recorded, yours to revisit alone or with a partner.
- A workbook for each weekFor your notes, your accelerators and brakes, and what you want to remember.
- Optional breakout spacesFor reflection and conversation, only if you want them.
- A private WhatsApp groupFor connection and shared resources between sessions.
- 30-day recording accessSo you can integrate at your own pace.
- Practices for solo or partnered explorationNo special equipment needed.
This work is gentle, paced, and consent-based. Listening is a valid way to take part, and you choose your level of participation at all times. No prior experience is needed.

Before you sign up
Do I need to bring a partner?
No. This series is designed for individuals, couples, and partners. Come solo or together, and join from the same screen or separate ones.
What if I’m single? Will this still be relevant?
Yes, and arguably even more so. Understanding your own desire before you’re in a relationship means you can enter your next connection with clarity, language, and boundaries already in place. You’re not preparing for someday. You’re building a relationship with your own pleasure now.
What if I’ve never done somatic work before?
This series is built to be accessible to beginners. Everything is explained clearly, participation is always optional, and you’ll never be put on the spot.
Is this LGBTQ+ friendly?
Yes. All genders, orientations, relationship structures, and expressions are welcome.
Will I have to share personal details in front of the group?
Never. Participation is invitational and breakout groups are optional. You can engage as much or as little as feels right.
What if I miss a week?
All sessions are recorded and available for 30 days. You’ll also have the WhatsApp group for connection between sessions.
Can I attend if I have a history of trauma?
Yes. The facilitation is trauma-informed, nothing is forced, and you’re always in choice about your level of engagement. This is educational and experiential work, not therapy. If you’re actively working through trauma, I encourage you to stay connected with your therapist alongside the series.
Is this the same as Pleasure Mapping?
Yes. It’s the same five-week journey through the senses, now named for the method at its center.
I’m not sure this is for me. Can I talk to you first?
Of course. Book a free 15-minute clarity call and we can talk through your situation and whether the series is a good fit.
Your desire, your boundaries, your pleasure. It all belongs here.
Dates and pricing are coming soon. Join my mailing list and you’ll hear before anyone else.
